Slash's Papa Will Accelerate Heart Rates

If you're having one of those boring days with not enough and too much going on all at once, take a break and mainline some of what Slash has been cooking up. Just put up an absolutely killer version of 'Papa Was A Rolling Stone', one of the covers he created for his 'Orgy Of The Damned' Summer blues project and I wasn't ready for what I was about to see. Produced in the Gibson Garage, a laughably reductive name for what they're giving birth too in that creative womb, the first notes that cracked the silence were from the bass of a guy named Johnny Griparic. It was the bassiest bass possibly ever for that tribute to the Motown song. Hard to describe. Better if you listen to the genius Slash is creating bringing together musicians for us to sample like a Sous Chef at an expensive restaurant.
