General Lee Pronounced Dead At Age 54

Gotta say, for it's level of action, The General Lee outlived an entire hoard of bright orange '69 Dodge Chargers, posers all of them, claiming to be THE General Lee. But now, tragically, one of the actual cars from the acclaimed television drama "The Dukes of Hazzard"circa 1979-1985 was mortally wounded when yayhoos driving it at high speeds on a country road crashed the General, brutally bending its frame and leaving multiple dents and crushed metal on its body. Not to mention it's internal injuries. The aforementioned driver and passenger were hospitalized. Bystanders commenting on this FB post observed insensitively, "..them Duke Boys was at it again." Police are investigating just what caused the accident. To remember the General in it's glory, we've shared the triumphant return of the Orange '69 Charger in action at the 2017 Detroit Autorama. RIP GL, may the sounds of your 'Land of Dixie' horn herald you to auto heaven. https://www.facebook.com/WTCFPD/posts/572595421563184
