Pretty sure they needed a team of cosmetic surgeons to treat the faces melted off in an otherwise meh SNL Saturday night. There's something so reassuring about the way Jack White demonstrates that Rock n Roll is plugged in, amped up to 13 and throbbing. He hopped around a little bit on stage with his brutal Fender Axe and showed all past and future acts how to do a truly entertaining musical segment on SNL. Then came back after a few fairly lame skits and did it again, this time with an acoustic guitar. Jack White, definitely beyond being a star: He's a Supernova. You feel it every time you watch him perform.
