Page revisits Bron-Yr-Aur Where The Best Zeptunes Were Created

Jimmy Page on a pilgrimage to Bron Yr Aur the unpronounceable cottage in the Welsh Countryside where he and Robert Plant retreated in 1970 after a few whirlwind years of touring that Plant described as a roller coaster. They wrote songs for Led Zeppelin 3 and 4 there sitting next to a waterfall on the side of a mountain, I'm picturing them perched on mossy stumps with Jimmy's acoustic guitar, Bobby caterwauling into the woods. It's in part the inspiration for all of the Tolkien references Plant would recall, though he joked about there being no sign of Golem in that peaceful place. There was also no electricity besides the electricity Page and Plant created, Page quipped. Whatever it is that drew Jimmy to return, it had to be quite the rush for the current owners of the cottage who greeted the legendary rock star with his bespectacled daughter. See the IG while you're tripping on early Zep.
