Who Would Join Me For A Die Hard Film Festival

No seriously, I'm up for it. I don't think I've ever shared it, but I secretly love Die Hard movies. I came 'out' about it while watching 'Brooklyn 99' finding out that Andy Samberg's character Jake Peralta also is a die hard Die Harder. Now the indomitable smirking invincibility of John Mc Clane in the face of evil doers like Yuri Komarov (seems like the right time to destroy that guy) all the way back to the OG villain, Hans Gruber, is threatened by a monster he may not be able to fight back against. Bruce Willis' family just publically announced their beloved dad, brother, husband was withdrawing from making movies because of an affliction you may not have heard of--aphasia, a tragic impairment that renders its victims incapable of understanding or expressing speech. For anyone, a bitch slap from the universe, for an entertainer, being struck by this seems inconceivable. For all of us die hard Die Hard fans, all we can do is start at the beginning at Nakatome Tower and marvel at our hero as he walks on broken glass, jumps off the roof of the building while being fired on by a helicopter, or in one of my favorite scenes from Live Free or Die Hard--killing a helicopter with an airborne car. Yippie ki Yay M F'ers!!
