Chili's On The Walk Of Fame And They're Not Under The Bridge

They're red hot!!! The Chili Peppers have achieved Hollywood Walk Of Fame status!! Next Thursday the band will be on the sidewalk in the 'city that loves' them. The 'Californication' rockers will be honored with the 2,717th star in the second row at 6212 Hollywood Blvd next to Amoeba Records in the vicinity of Pat Sajack and Jack Parr or that guy who hosts Wheel Of Fortune and, well, their fans don't have a clue who Jack Parr is. The super cool news is that George Clinton, funkmaster and sometime Central Michigan farmer, will be there on their behalf. George took time out from his busy schedule to give the band direction at his studio in Michigan for their album "Freaky Styley" and he will do the unveiling of the star. Also Woody Harrellson and Bob Forrest, onetime member of 'Thelonious Monster' and 'Sober House' coach. The new Chili Peppers album "Unlimited Love" comes out the following day, April 1st and their show in Detroit is August 14th at Commerica Park.
