Back on this day in 2000.Lars Ulrich was powering down the PCH in his Lambo when he heard a song Metallica was about to release on radio. The infuriated Danish rushed to his bro's digs in Metallica-land and after a band meeting they sued Napster, an ancient music sharing app. It went to court in July of that year, but beforehand, Lars made an appearance before Congress to lament that Napster would devastate musicians by separating them from their money. Imagine the Congress of that day and age trying to understand the concept. High-llarious.
