Last night, in Game 4 of the ALCS, veteran pitcher Max Scherzer delivered a dominant outing, helping the Toronto Blue Jays level the series. Despite a tense moment in the fifth inning during which manager John Schneider came to the mound, Scherzer strongly insisted on staying in the game — a move that paid off as he struck out the next batter to end the inning. He went on to pitch 5 ⅔ innings, allowing just two runs on three hits while fanning five and walking four.
The Blue Jays rallied behind him offensively, igniting their attack to secure an 8–2 win over the Seattle Mariners. Scherzer’s tenacity on the mound, combined with timely hitting, shifted momentum and gave Toronto a fresh boost in the series.
