Hallmark Channel stars have launched a PSA warning fans about social media scammers impersonating actors. They emphasize they will never reach out asking for money, donations, or meet-ups, and urge followers to block and report fake accounts.
Now we can appreciate their attempt to keep their viewers safe from scams, but maybe this is an unnecessary PSA...BECAUSE NO ONE KNOWS WHO ANY OF THE "STARS" OF THE HALLMARK CHANNEL ARE!
Now the "stars" are... Andrew Walker, B.J. Britt, Nikki DeLoach, Paul Campbell, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Tyler Hynes. Which you may recognize one of those names if you're a fan of the old TGIF programming lineup that featured the show "Sister Sister"
We don't mean to be rude, but no one has heard of any of these people. The people that are scamming others online are pretending to be REAL celebrities. Like Jason Mamoa, Tom Cruise, hell even Tom Selleck would be a more valid celebrity to impersonate.
So we applaud the Hallmark Channel's efforts, but when the biggest name you have in your lineup is the woman that played Aunt Becky on Full House in the 90's it might be a little misplaced.
