Brian May Names Two People He’d Collaborate With

We are pretty much used to seeing Brian May record with Queen or solo. But wait! Some unlikely teaming up is about to happen, as the legendary guitarist invites two of music’s most thrilling talents to join him in the studio – Paul McCartney and Avril Lavigne. This scenario may seem a little unlikely to some of you. Yet, May recently said at the premiere of Cirque du Soleil: Kurios that he would be very eager to do collabs with the two.

“I have never really collaborated,” before revealing the names he wanted to hit the studio with. “But I’d love to work with Paul McCartney and Avril Lavigne. Every time I see her, I think she is very rock and roll, and there are a lot of female artists, but she is the best. With Paul, it would be really interesting to sit down and see all that pan out.”

So, what would happen if Brian May got together with Paul McCartney and Avril Lavigne to make music? Well, that would be pretty awesome if you asked us! Imagine Brian’s remarkable guitar skills combined with Paul’s songwriting genius and Avril’s rock and roll voice. It’s not gonna be easy, given their different backgrounds and styles, but the result could be seriously epic. We don’t know if the collaborations will happen, but even the thoughts of them get us excited.
