Tonight ESPN & ABC will debut a new theme song for Monday Night Football and its a song you are more than likely familiar with. Phil Collins 1981 hit 'In The Air Tonight' gets a makeover courtesy of country superstar Chris Stapleton, rapper Snoop Dogg and drummer Cindy Blackman-Santana. Blackman-Santana is the wife of Carlos Santana and the touring drummer for the band. She previously was Lenny Kravitz' drummer for 18 years before a solo career.
From 1989 to 2011 and then again in 2017, the MNF theme was 'All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight' by Hank Williams Jr.
We'll have to wait and see if this one stands the test of time like the Hank Williams Jr. intro was for so many years.
