The Earliest Known Van Halen Brothers Recording Has Surfaced

By @caseyonair
Sep 12, 2023

The recording pre-dates the band Van Halen. The band at the time was known as Mammoth. It features Eddie Van Halen on guitar and yes, VOCALS! Along with Brother Alex on drums and the late Mark Stone on bass. It was possibly recorded at the club Gas Company in their hometown of Pasadena, CA.
