It's not often you can stay in a rock star's home, but now you can. The childhood home of Lynyrd Skynyrd members Ronnie, Donnie and Johnny Van Zant is available to rent on AirBnB. The Jacksonville, FL house was purchased by local investor Todd Smith in 2015. He's spent the last several years restoring the home to replicate what it looked like in the 1970's when the Van Zant family lived there. However there are a few modern day updates like the addition of wifi. The walls are adorned with Skynyrd memorabilia including a gold record and photos of the band. It's not luxurious by any means but fans of the band shouldn't mind as it's listed as a state historical landmark with a marker in front of the home.
The elder Van Zant's lived there until father Lacy died in 2004.
It rents for $274 per night.
