Mick Mars has played his last Motley Crue show

It was 1980 when Mick Mars changed his name and left his band. The ad he put in the newspaper read "loud, rude aggressive guitar player". Perfect for a new band called Motley Crue. Ever since then Mick has been on stage touring the world with one of the most successful bands in rock history. In Sept on 2022 in Las Vegas he would play with Motley Crue for the last time. Honestly to see Mick on stage at all during this stadium tour with Def Leppard is testimony to his inner fortitude. Mick Mars suffers from ankylosing spondylitis, for us laymen a rare aggressive form of arthritis. He has talked about the pain he experiences everyday even when he is on stage performing. The fact that he has performed up to the age of 71 with this disease beating up his body is amazing. Cheers to you Mick Mars! Thank you for all the great moments on stage, enjoy your retirement! https://ultimateclassicrock.com/mick-mars-last-motley-crue-concert/
