Whitesnake's David Coverdale is saying 'farewell' but he's not retiring

When David Coverdale of Whitesnake said this is the last tour, he meant for Whitesnake not for him. Confusing? Yes. David has had a long career, some of it with Deep Purple and remember the album he did with Jimmy Page? Coverdale who is 70 years old says "I still have the goods' and is looking forward to future projects, possibly more music with Coverdale/Page. I'm happy to see David still intends on working but let's make it clear to the fans who are buying tickets what you mean by 'farewell' and 'retirement' or does it really matter because we just don't believe it anymore. I think we'll believe it when Kiss actually plays their last show. Ha! Like that's going to happen. https://blabbermouth.net/news/whitesnakes-david-coverdale-has-been-quite-emotional-at-some-of-the-shows-on-farewell-tour
