Tommy Shaw reunites with Jack Blades for Damn Yankee's "High Enough"

In radio they're called 'Oh Wow' songs like "oh wow, I haven't heard that song in a long time", like "High Enough" from the Damn Yankees. This was a band that consisted of Ted Nugent, Jack Blades (Night Ranger) and Tommy Shaw (Styx). It's an odd combination but it worked. One of their biggest hits was a ballad yes we're still talking about Ted Nugent. Jack says he wrote this song with Tommy in 45 minutes and they thought it was good but was still afraid to play it for the Motor City Madman for fear he would laugh them out of the room. Ted listened and said, you know what this song needs, then proceeded to add a killer guitar solo. Tommy recently joined Jack on stage during a Night Ranger concert for a revival of this great tune.
