The Black Crowes take it back to '1972'

The Black Crowes are enjoying a very successful reunion tour right now but will find time to record an EP. Just six songs from 1972 that are near and dear to their hearts and that they want to commit to vinyl. The one I'm most excited to hear is Chris Robinson singing Rod Stewart's 'You Wear It Well' because of the timber in his voice and The Temptation's "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" because The Black Crowes are soulful. Maybe not Motown soul coming from Atlanta but soulful just the same. It was an incredible year for music and "1972' will be a great addition to The Black Crowes library. We can add this one on May 4th. It's good to have Chris and Rich Robinson back together again! https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/the-black-crowes-to-release-1972-covers-ep-in-may/
