ALS patient with new brain implant asks first to hear Tool

"I would like to listen to the album by Tool loud" was the first communication from an ALS patient with complete paralysis. The 36 year old man asked for the implant to maintain communication with his family including his son since he no longer had facial movement. This amazing science allowed him to form sentences using 'nerofeedback' tones at the rate of one character per minute making him the first ever with his condition to communicate using this device. I hope hearing his Tool album brought him some happiness. https://consequence.net/2022/03/tool-brain-implant-patient/
