Finally someone has called the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame out on their ridiculous choices for nominations. In a world where there are awards and halls of fame for every type of music it totally baffles me why the ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame would deny bands and artists in the very genre they're supposedly celebrating and nominate artists in other genres of music. It has nothing to do with whether or not they're good, you named yourself the ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame! Dolly Parton who I adore by the way, has been celebrated endlessly by the world of country music, receiving too many awards to count and numerous accolades throughout her career. She has taken herself out of the running for nomination saying "I don't feel that I have earned the right". Maybe because she's not ROCK AND ROLL! Dolly Parton is a class act and has all the respect and love of people around the world. I have even more love for her right now. Dolly is out but Lionel Richie is still in and Iron Maiden is still out.
