The list is out for the class of 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees. There's no guaranteeing that any of these artists will go in, this is the first initial round. On that list Rage Against the Machine, Judas Priest (their second go around) and many others including Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie. I still cannot believe that a band, since 1975 that has galvanized, forged, and influenced heavy metal as much as Iron Maiden is not even being considered on the year of their 17th studio album and world tour. Selling 85 million albums isn't enough? In my mind this is a Hall of Fame that should recognize the contributions bands have made to the genre but instead every year it looks like one big attempt to get people to watch the show on HBO, which I do. It is not the "Rock and Roll" Hall of Fame, it's a money grab that extorts the love fans have for the music. And somehow I still care. https://loudwire.com/2022-rock-and-roll-hall-of-fame-nominees/
