Eddie Van Halen's hometown honors him

Two fans from Eddie Van Halen's hometown of Pasadena spearheaded a campaign to raise money to honor the late guitarist in the city he grew up in. They raised $6,500 for a permanent memorial through a GoFundMe where donations came from all over the world. The result is a plaque commemorating the Van Halen's journey to America and the success of their band. You might think, a plaque is all they got? Because of legalities any likeness of Eddie Van Halen or his famous 'Frankenstrat' was not allowed. A plaque is still a nice remembrance on the streets where the Van Halen's lived and learned their craft. I look forward to seeing a ton of selfies next to it. https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/eddie-van-halen-memorial-plaque-officially-unveiled-in-pasadena/
