Groupies have always been part of rock and roll lore. Just watch the movie 'Almost Famous'. Connie Hamzy was one of the most famous groupies of all. She not only loved her reputation but apparently the bands loved her too. She was immortalized in the Grand Funk song ' American Band', "Sweet sweet Connie doin' her act / She had the whole show and that's a natural fact".
