Styx not even considered for the Rock Hall of Fame, Tommy Shaw doesn't care

It's tough to have a stellar career like Styx and not get any respect or recognition from your peers. Somehow the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has positioned themselves as 'the be all and end all' of rock. It's not true. When asked about Styx not even being considered for nomination Tommy Shaw said "I hope we get inducted after I've died. Then at least I won't have to pay $5000 for the 'honor' of attending the ceremony." Yes, it cost the bands $5000 a person to attend the ceremony, even if you're being inducted.
