One of my most treasured moments is listening to Scott Weiland do vocal warm ups before a radio appearance. It was raw and real, his voice sounding so pure as he stood alone in an empty room. I could hear him through the wall as I waited in the next room. It was purely unintentional and so memorable. Stone Temple Pilots have now released an early version of 'Trippin on a Hole in a Paper Heart' off the upcoming 25th anniversary edition of Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop due out July 23.
