I didn't really expect it to happen, after all the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has long ignored the bands and artists who have created and influenced the genre. I get it, they have to make it relevant to the masses and sell it to HBO. You knew it was all about the money, right? Still infuriating to those of us who live and breathe (and work) in music to see the Hall use the words Rock and Roll to make a buck while dismissing the bands who built it. Iron Maiden one of the very first heavy metal bands, consistently selling out tour after tour should have been in years ago.
