Is there such a thing as the 'Hard Rock Capital of the United States' ? Nashville is 'Music City' which sounds less official and little more fun but we Detroiters have always taken our music very seriously. When the MC5 yelled out "Kick out the jams MF's" the rest of the music world did a head spin. Even in 1969 that was radical and so was Iggy Pop rolling on the floor in blood and sweat. Is that really the Hard Rock Capital government were looking for? I guess that makes Ted Nugent our Head of Security. I think Alice Cooper would make a great Mayor after all he's wants to be 'Elected'. Bob Seger an excellent Secretary of State and Kid Rock......ok we'll get back to that later. Yes I think Alice is right, we are the Hard Rock Capital! Now to pick an anthem....this is gonna be fun.
