I must admit, the older I get the more likely I am to run for the car before the first encore. For seasoned concert goers there's that window of opportunity to get out of the parking lot before the gridlock. Then there was that time I found out Tool played my favorite song while I was rejoicing that I got to I-75 before anyone else. Last time... Korn recently admitted they hate doing encores and once tried to convince the press that they didn't do them. "We give it all we all, and then we're done" Fans got angry and who wants an even more angry Korn fan, so the band rethought their strategy. Now even though they would rather not, I loved the 'Twisted Transistor' encore by the way, they do them. Sometimes seeing a band come out for a third or fourth time is so joyful. Or when they bring out a special guest! I know they're tired and so will I be the next day but really I-75 will always be there but once the moment has passed....
