Metal heads don't pay much attention to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but this year we may have a chance to cheer. Iron Maiden has been nominated along with Rage Against the Machine and the Foo Fighters. We'll find out in May who gets inducted and we all know it'll be rock darling Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, which is fine. Yet just like Judas Priest who was left out in the cold last year I'm afraid the biggest heavy metal band ever, may not get to grace the stage at the ceremony. ROHF notoriously leaves out heavy metal and sometimes rock and roll all together! It's a nice sentiment to nominate these bands but then when they don't get the nod it's like someone saying "It' not you it's me" , we know it isn't true. I'm hoping I'm wrong and Iron Maiden will get to blow the doors off that Cleveland auditorium and Eddie will rule the day! I raise my devil horns to you Iron Maiden!
