A 36-year-old man from New Jersey was charged with indecent assault after allegedly groping a woman who was working inside an Easter Bunny costume at the South Hills Village Mall in the Pittsburgh area.
Police say the costumed woman was taking photos with families when the man approached her, ignored directions to speak with an assistant, and began touching her arm and chest before grabbing her breasts and putting his fingers inside parts of the costume.
Authorities reviewed surveillance footage and later identified the suspect, who was found asleep inside a nearby movie theater. When questioned, he reportedly asked if the Easter Bunny was a doll and claimed the contact was accidental. He was taken into custody and faces charges related to the incident.
