Bret Michaels recently shared one of C.C. DeVille’s previous posts including a photo of them together and celebrated the Poison guitarist’s birthday, writing:
“This post forever makes my day. I cherish my friendship with C.C. – Happy Birthday, my friend! Could C.C. or Rikki [Rockett] or Bobby [Dall] make a special appearance on this summer’s Parti-Gras? Stay tuned to BretMichaels.com for all the latest info.”
The singer also promoted his two-hour documentary:
“You never know what will happen at the Parti-Gras, so grab your tickets today for the last day of Live Nation Concert Week! The party continues on TV with the world premiere, two-part Bret Michaels A&E Biography episode that kicks off the newest season on June 16, showing a rare & never-before-seen side of Michaels!”
DeVille’s 2022 post from a Poison show had the caption:
“I love this picture of Bret and I! In all the years I’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with him, I have never known him to give less than 100%!!!”
In a February appearance on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, Michaels disclosed his touring plans with Poison:
“One million percent. I was grateful to be out there again. With Mötley [Crüe] and [Def] Leppard and to be out there with Joan [Jett], I one thousand percent see that [kind of thing happening again].”
He also had a date in his mind:
“I think in 2025, 2026, one million percent. We’re gonna bring all the Poison greatest-hits reunion and make it part of what ‘Parti-Gras’ is. We’ll make it the Poison reunion ‘Parti-Gras’ and bring a lot of great bands and just, without a doubt, unleash all those Poison greatest hits.”
Still, a month later from those words, the rocker said he would take a break from touring after his Parti-Gras 2.0 Music Festival 2024. It will start on July 12 with a show at Ruoff Music Center in Indiana. Michaels plans to perform a few gigs in 2025 due to his health concerns.
