Recently, some rumors about Jon Bon Jovi having affairs sparked after he made some comments about his music life. In a new interview, Jon Bon Jovi has finally broken his silence about the rumors.
Speaking to Strahan, Jon said that he was never a ‘saint’ and there were around 100 girls in his life:
“I got away with murder. I’m a rock and roll star, I’m not a saint. You know, I’m not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in my life – I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.”
Bon Jovi didn’t get into everything he has done in the past, but he did mention his wife and their relationship:
“There is no doubt in my mind that this world revolves because of her. Because of what she did to keep the kids right, what she does to keep me right, what we do together to keep it right. No doubt about it.”
Earlier, He spoke to Independent about his relationship and being a rockstar. It appears that he wasn’t always faithful, but in his words, those are the ‘clichés of rock stardom’:
“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom. It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to [mess] up the home life, either.”
After these words, things took a turn. Jon’s wife Dorothea Hurley didn’t join Hulu’s special screening of ‘Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.’
The event went down at IPIC Theater, but the singer walked the red carpet solo. Although some sources said she couldn’t make it because she was sick, there isn’t an official statement yet.
The couple tied the knot at Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas back in 1989 and later had four kids.
Although the recent comments and confessions sparked controversy, Jon Bon Jovi recently opened up more about the current state of his marriage in a recent interview with Fox News Digital. He said:
“I don’t think that we need rules. I think it’s just the mutual admiration society. I think it’s as simple as that. You wake up in the morning excited to be with each other. And you admire each other. And you respect each other. It’s a pleasure to do. It’s a pleasure to be.”
He also said his wife was ‘the glue’ of the relationship and that she keeps it all together.
