Join 106.7 Detroit's Wheels at the 15th Annual Claws and Paws in Clawson on Saturday, October 2nd from 10am until 2pm. Join us for a fun-filled day of pet friendly activities, games, animal adoption opportunities, on-site vendors and more! The event begins with the annual In-Person walk/Jog.
Registration and check-ins are at 10:00 a.m., and the in-person walk/jog around the park follows at 10:30 a.m.
Virtual Walk/Jog - can be done at any time. We would love if you would post a picture/selfie on the Clawson Chamber of Commerce website.
Everyone is welcome to register for the walk/run. You can even bring your four-legged friend as long as they are up to date on their vaccines, get along with other animals, are kept on their leash and are cleaned up after. This will be fun for the whole family. For those who don't want to register to walk, come and join us for the other activities, and enjoy a day at the park. Following the walk/run, the pet fair will be open to everyone.
At 12:00 noon we will have the Kids' Dog Show. Registration and Check-In will begin at 11 am. This event is for children ages 4 - 14 years old will show off their dog's abilities in the following events. Awards will be given.
Come relax in the park and listen to some tunes while you shop from some of the talented vendors who will be attending. Food will be available for purchase. The Clawson Lions Club will be serving up hot dogs! They will have raffles with some great items! There will be games that your pet can participate in.
Rescue organizations will be on site with animals in need of loving homes.
