Yesterday's Lions game against the Atlanta Falcons was shaping up to be yet another Lions loss. But alas, QB Matthew Stafford orchestrated a brilliant 4th quarter comeback with a TD pass to TE TJ Hockenson with no time left on the clock to tie the game at 22...enter Matt Prater to kick the extra point to avoid overtime and give the Lions a 23-22 win.
The Lions are 3-3 on the season with upcoming games against the Colts, Vikings and Washington. Colts being the only one of those with a winning record. Say the Lions are 2-1 in their next 3, that puts them at 5-4. A Wild Card spot is not at all unreasonable.
