Creem Magazine was published from 1969 - 1989. Originally based in Detroit it was the opposite of Rolling Stone Magazine, who in 1971 named James Taylor "the future of rock n' roll". Creem was where young people came to learn about punk and hard rock. The film was shown at last year's Freep Film Festival and will now get a nationwide release in theaters.
