As they have in the past (see WWII) one of the Big 3 is stepping up to do whats good for the country. Ford is planning on making 50,000 ventilators in 100 days to help aid Coronavirus patients, and they will continue pumping out an additional 30,000 every month after that. The machines will be made at the Rawsonville Components Plant in Ypsilanti. 500 UAW workers volunteered to make the ventilators and THAT is what makes me most proud to be the child of a former UAW worker. The auto industry has always been first to offer their services in times of national crisis. The trend continues. CHEERS to Ford!
