Sponge is an alternative rock band from Detroit, Michigan formed in 1991 by Vinnie Dombroski. Sponge was signed to Sony Records in 1994 and found mainstream success with their debut album “Rotting Piñata” which received heavy play on radio and MTV and was certified gold by the RIAA. This year marks the 25 year anniversary for Rotting Piñata, they will play the album in full at this show.
