Say what you want about Beavis And Butt-head, they've got great roots. Springing from the High School memories of Mike Judge, they were insipid Gen X dipshits who got blamed for causing behavioral problems among kids of the 90's, and panned by highbrow critics of TV. But others realized B&B were comedic critics of society in a relatable way who in fact, inspired Trey Parker and Mike Stone to create another animated socially relevant series called South Park. They were evolution happening before our eyes.
And now they're back!! They're the same age, just now representing Gen Z for two series on Comedy Central. Mike Judge also inked the deal for Beavis and Butt-head spin-off shows, so hopefully we can laugh our way through some of these truly UNFUNNY times for years to come.
