St. Louis Drops Prosecution for Marijuana Possession Under 100 Grams

Just in time for the holidays, weed in St. Louis is practically decriminalized! Well, not REALLY, but it has become less of an offense.  St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner made the announcement that her office will no longer prosecute any case involving 100 grams of marijuana or less.

“Effective immediately we will no longer issue possession of marijuana cases under 100 grams as the lead charge!”

Already got popped in the city?  Gardner said her team will begin reviewing and dismissing past cases immediately.

While this doesn't make weed totally legal in St. Louis, it's a huge step in the right direction. Progress is progress.
