The 16th Annual Hockey Night Featuring the Detroit Redwings Alumni date has been set, and beneficiaries have been named.

BRIGHTON, Michigan – November 10, 2025—The Well Church proudly announces the goal and beneficiaries of its 16th Annual Hockey Night, a cherished tradition of using a passion for hockey to benefit four deserving charities. The April 5th, 2025 event will feature an exciting match between The Well Saints and the Detroit Red Wings Alumni.

Adding to the pre-game excitement, alumni hockey teams from Brighton, Howell, Hartland, and Milford High Schools will also compete, promising an engaging and entertaining spectacle. The festivities and fundraising will continue after the games with a VIP Dinner, Music, and Live and Silent Auctions.

The four benefits of 2025 event are:

● Torch 180 provides inclusive opportunities for effective vocational training, soft skills, and work experience for disadvantaged individuals .

● Amber Reinick House is dedicated to acquiring affordable properties intended for use by nonprofit organizations that provide housing and treatment services to people seeking long-term recovery

● Bendix Academy is an intergenerational workshop and learning center where people unite to explore, teach, and learn the mechanical world together

● Livingston Shop with a Cop benefits children who might not receive Christmas presents or need positive reinforcement from police officers.

Pastor Jeff Waterman of The Well Church emphasized the importance of this event, stating, "Part of our mission is to fill need gaps in and out of our community. Scott DesAutel, passionate about hockey and helping those in need, has recruited volunteers to help reach this year’s goal of donating $70,000 to these designated charities and is seeking more corporate support."

● The games will be held at the 140 Ice Den in Howell, Michigan

● VIP Dinner and Auction will follow at the Chemung Hills Banquet Center in Howell, Michigan.

Tickets are available at $15 at the door, $10 in advance, or $75 per person for the VIP Dinner and Game package.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, and volunteers are actively seeking donations for our live and silent auctions. Your support will help to reach the goal of donating $70,000 to the designated charities.
