A player for Edinburg High School in Texas was charged with assault after charging the field and tackling him after he was ejected from the game. In the video, you can see the player running back onto the field and slamming the referee to the ground. The referee laid on the field for several minutes before walking away. He was later evaluated for a concussion. According to local newspaper The Monitor, the player, Emmanuel Duron, 18 is currently in jail awaiting bond.
