Bill Murray turns 70 years old today and I wonder how he's celebrating. Is he crashing a kid's lemonade stand? Caddying for someone on a gold course? Besides being one of the great comic actors of all time, BM has been known to show up unannounced to strangers' wedding receptions, on-air booths for baseball games and random house parties.
After hittin' the Big Time on SNL, Murray went on to make hit movie after hit movie, using his quirky, understated dry wit all along the way. And then, in the early 2000's he became and Indie Film darling, still maintaining his comedy chops.
I think my favorite Bill Murray stat is that he doesn't have an agent, never has. If people want him for a project, they have to figure out how to get a hold of him.
