The Who's Pete Townshend turned 75 yesterday...first of all, yikes! That just means I'm getting older, too. To help celebrate, NME, the premier British music mag, did a piece about the importance of the LIVE album. Especially during this pandemic, when going to a live show is pretty much a no go.
The Who's Live At Leeds is widely held as one of the greatest live albums ever while Bob Seger's Live Bullet, Kiss Alive and Rush's All The World's A Stage are worthy combatants.
