The GNR song You Could Be Mine? I always presumed it was about one of Axl's famously alienated supermodel girlfriends, but as the story goes, it was written for the soundtrack of Terminator 2. This was back before there were too many Terminators where we all lost track about how and why the machines were gonna own us. Good old fashioned Terminator from the future who just happened to have been built with an Austrian accent. Totally believable!! I loved those first two movies but didn't remember that the title track was GNR. Apparently, the negotiations for how much bank they'd earn from James Cameron for the use of that song took place at Arnold's digs over dinner. Axl, Slash, and Arnold. Which future me wishes I could go back in time to witness.
